This full-day EPA Certified Renovator Initial course is intended for maintenance technicians, service personnel, renovators,
re-modelers, painters, and any other workers removing or modifying painted surfaces in pre-1978 housing and in pre -1978 child-occupied
facilities. Students will learn how to comply with the new EPA Rule and the HUD Lead Safe Housing Rule. Students will
also learn how to work safely with lead-based paint, and how to perform lead-safe work practices safely and effectively during
renovation, repair and painting projects. This course is presented by experienced contractors from a practical "real
world" jobsite perspective with an emphasis on "best practices" and what you can do to minimize risks and liabilities
as it pertains to working with lead. We provide instruction and additional training materials and resources that go
well beyond the required minimums to address business and insurance liability concerns including contracts, insurance, record-keeping,
and bidding to ensure that you are armed with everything you need to work safely and effectively. Classes are limited to 35 students. Course includes test for 'Certified
Renovator'

Crime Scene - Trauma Clean Up with Business & Marketing Side
Using real pigs blood and brain tissue, a trauma scene is created
on a variety of surfaces: hardwoods,carpet, sub-flooring and concrete. Students will learn how to properly clean and dispose
of hazardous materials while meeting OSHA standards as well as protecting yourself and others. Trauma clean-ups are just as
much emotional as well as physical. Students also learn how to remain calm during stress and to deal with others under stressful
situations. The 2nd part of the class is the business-oriented side of Trauma clean-up. This focuses on how cleaning/restoration
